I am a huge fan of coffee. My day does not start without at least a cup of coffee first. When I was in college, I practically lived off of coffee, especially during finals week. Most people I know just go to Starbucks for their morning pick-me-up. But that’s honestly just money down the drain.

A venti iced caramel macchiato at Starbucks is like 8 dollars. You can buy a whole bag of coffee grounds with that money and it’s always filled with ice rather than actual coffee. Anyway, if you’re looking to save an extra few bucks or just want to create a cute little coffee station in your home, you’ve come to the right place.

I’ve gathered over 20 of the cutest coffee bar ideas that you can easily recreate in your home. If you’re worried that you can’t incorporate these ideas in your space because it’s on the smaller side, well, there is no need to stress about it because I lived in a tiny dorm room and it worked just fine.

No matter the size of your space, these ideas will look amazing! They will make your morning routine much simpler and make your home look a lot cuter as well. Now, let’s get started!

1. SMALL COFFEE STATION

You don’t need a bunch of stuff to create a coffee bar. As you can see here, the space is well-organized, cohesive, and insanely cute.

A coffee machine, a few mugs, some coffee pods, and your favorite syrup will do wonders for keeping the space neat and not overly crowded.

As you start running low on your coffee essentials, you can just fill them up again.

2. USE IKEA KALLAX

I’m sure you guys know what an Ikea Kallax is. It’s literally the shelf unit above. They are incredible for organization, decor, and now creating a coffee station.

The shelf units are actually pretty fair-priced and are only 50 dollars. As opposed to some other cabinets you find on the market, this is a lot cheaper in comparison.

You can keep all of your coffee essentials on the shelves and there is plenty of extra space if you want to stock up on your favorites.

3. CORNER COFFEE STATION

Do you have an awkward corner in your house/apartment and don’t know what to do with it? Well, why not just create a cute little coffee bar?

You can easily recreate this idea by incorporating a corner base cabinet and installing a mug wall rack above.

Keep all of your coffee essentials inside the cabinets so it doesn’t look cluttered and leave out the things you use on a daily basis.

4. ORGANIZE YOUR COFFEE PODS

If you are someone who uses coffee pods on the daily, then you know how messy the space can look if you don’t organize them.

I also use coffee pods because I just like them better but, I used to leave them out on my counter without any kind of storage solution and it looked like a mess.

Which is why you need to buy a coffee pod carousel. I found this one on Amazon for a really low price and it holds up to 40 pods!

Trust me when I say, they will make your space 100 times more organized.

5. COUNTER COFFEE NOOK

If you have some extra counter space in your kitchen, make use of it and create a small coffee nook. Grab a wooden board and keep only the things you use daily so it doesn’t look cluttered.

Incorporate some sugar, coffee grounds/pods, creamer, and of course your favorite syrup. You can transfer the contents into ceramic canisters to make it look more aesthetic.

Make sure to include a couple of mugs, spoons, and obviously your coffee machine.

6. ONLY THE BASICS

Make sure your coffee station is always in its best shape by keeping only the basics.

Too many items like syrups and coffee pods or decorations can make the space feel smaller than it actually is.

So do yourself a favor and keep only the items you actually use on your counter. Things like coffee grounds, sugar, and cream are all you really need.

If you like to add syrup to your coffee, then keep only one or two on the tray as well.

7. MARBLE TRAY WITH SYRUPS

If you are looking for coffee nook ideas for your counter, then this is a great option. Some of you may not know this but, syrups and coffee essentials count as decor too.

So grab your little marble tray (you can get one from Amazon if you don’t already own one) and place all of the syrups and coffee pods you use on there.

This will ensure your counter always looks amazing and it’s also easy access for when you need it.

8. INCORPORATE WOVEN BASKETS

Woven baskets are my number one faves! I love them to death and use them for literally everything.

They serve as decoration and will become your best friend when it comes to organization.

Keep all of your coffee pods, syrups, toppings, and any other coffee-related items you use in them.

You can separate them by category so you can quickly grab what you are looking for when you’re in a rush and don’t have to spend time sorting through items.

9. FALL COFFEE BAR

Don’t you just love switching up the decor for the new season? I certainly do. You don’t have to redecorate your entire coffee station, just a few small changes will do wonders.

Buy some faux fall-themed flowers, switch out the mugs, and a new tablecloth. As you can see in the picture above, just these three changes makes a world of difference.

This is also great if you want to show some festive spirit but don’t want to go overboard.

10. FLOATING SHELVES

Floating shelves are amazing not only for showcasing decorations but also for organization.

Install two floating shelves above your cabinet and place all of your coffee essentials there.

You can also transfer the contents of the products into different canisters to make them look more appealing/aesthetic.

If you have absolutely no available space in your home, you can actually just install the floating shelves onto your walls and make that your coffee bar.

Make sure it’s near your coffee machine though because you don’t want to walk for three minutes just to get to the sugar, haha!

11. USE WOODEN SHELF

If you live in a small apartment or dorm room (like myself), then chances are you don’t have much space to work with.

Which is where kitchen counter space comes in. Find a small corner area in your kitchen to create your coffee station. (Preferably by an outlet for the coffee machine).

Then, grab your wooden shelf and coffee essentials and arrange them how you’d like. When it comes to creating a coffee bar in a small space, less is more. So don’t overdo it.

12. SIMPLE COFFEE BAR

Are you a minimalist queen? If so, this coffee bar idea is for you! Create the perfect coffee station by simply including only the essentials.

Your coffee machine and a small tray with sugar, coffee grounds, and a cute little picture are the perfect way to create an aesthetic and practical coffee corner for small spaces.

13. USE WALL STICKERS

Let everyone know exactly where the coffee bar is by using wall stickers.

There are so many different styles and fonts for coffee bar stickers on Amazon and Etsy for you to choose from.

This is also another great coffee station idea for those awkward walls you don’t know how to decorate.

14. BLACK AESTHETIC

If you like darker colors then this coffee station may be what you’re looking for. I am literally in love with this idea!

It is so chic and cute and is very easy to recreate! You’ll need black mugs, black canisters, and a black coffee bar sign.

Transfer the coffee essentials into the canisters and place those on the floating shelf. Then, hang up the mugs on a wall hook and secure the sign on the wall.

You can get another tray to add some decorations as well.

15. BRIGHT COFFEE NOOK

Looking for the cutest coffee nook ideas to recreate? This insanely bright and organized coffee station is one of the best I’ve come across.

This coffee bar idea is very bright and pleasing to the eye. Use lighter colors like cream and beige to recreate this.

It would look even better if you created this by a window because the sunlight will make it look brighter but if not that is completely ok too.

Incorporate some greenery and plants to brighten up the area and include a couple of cute coffee signs to complete the look.

16. TIERED TRAY DECOR

Tiered trays are literally a godsend for small apartments and small spaces in general. Plus, they are incredibly cheap and come in various different styles.

Place all of your syrups, coffee pods, and sugar on the top layer. On the bottom, you can add some decorative objects and a small plant to brighten things up.

17. ADD AESTHETIC PICTURES

If you’re creating your coffee bar and it still doesn’t look finished, maybe what it needs is a cute aesthetic sign to top it off.

You can buy these signs on Etsy or you can make one yourself.

You’ll just have to go to Canva, select which size you want, look for a font and color you like, and then start designing.

Once it’s done, just print it out and insert it into a cute frame.

18. CUTE COFFEE BAR

Looking for the cutest coffee nook ideas for your home? This is a great option. Place all of your mugs and cups on a wooden tiered tray.

Then place the coffee machine and coffee essentials on another wooden tray with some decorative objects as well.

This is great for dorms and small spaces that you want to make use of.

19. CHRISTMAS COFFEE BAR IDEA

How insanely cute is this coffee station idea? With the holidays around the corner, this would be the perfect coffee bar to recreate!

I know a lot of people have a corner like this in their homes, my parents house also has one just like this too.

That space would be the perfect spot to create a coffee nook that is separate from everything else.

Incorporate some Rae Dunn (she always comes out with seasonal ones during the Holidays), you can add some fairy lights and pine cones to give it that festive touch.

20. MINIMAL COFFEE NOOK

How adorable is this little coffee corner? If you have a small area available, this is the perfect decor idea you need to recreate!

Grab a tiered tray and add all of your day to day coffee essentials there. Mugs, syrups, toppings, coffee grounds, mugs, etc.

Then just place the tray right next to the coffee machine and add a few simple decorations for the finishing touches.

21. ORGANIZED COFFEE POD DRAWER

As I mentioned above, coffee pods can make your coffee bar look really messy very fast. So, keep your space neat and tidy by organizing your coffee pods in a drawer.

You can use a whole drawer for this if you have a lot of coffee pods but if not, you can just use a drawer divider and make use of the same drawer.

You can also buy a coffee pod holder insert for your drawer as well.

This will make the area extremely organized, making it easier to find what you’re looking for and, it looks amazing!

If you don’t believe me, just take a look at the picture above!
