I don’t know about you, but I just cannot wait for Valentines Day! It is one of my favorite holidays. Like I mentioned in my previous post, my friends and I love to host a fun little galentines gathering every year. We take turns hosting and invite our closest friends. We always have a blast, and the entire night is filled with laughter and fun.

One of my favorite things about Valentines Day is the decor. I am a lover of all things pink and red, and Valentine’s Day is filled with those colors. I love to redecorate my house based on the season and holiday. It is one of my favorite things to do. I especially love decorating a ladder shelf. It is one of the easiest ways to show a little festive spirit, and you can easily change out the decor when it’s over.

A few things I include on my ladder are picture frames, wooden letters, fairy lights to create a magical atmosphere, and lots of red and pink hearts. It is as easy as that. I mean, does it get any simpler than hearts for Valentine’s Day? I don’t think so! You can actually find everything you need for this ladder at the dollar store.

How awesome is that? You get a cute ladder without spending a ton of money. The star of this ladder is definitely the yarn heart in the middle.

It just grabs your attention and looks absolutely amazing. You can actually DIY it at home. Take a look at this YouTube tutorial if you’re interested.

6. GREEN LADDER DECOR

This is definitely one of my favorite ladder decor ideas on this list. If you are not a fan of all the red and pink decorations, this is the one for you!

Keep it subtle while incorporating a few Valentine’s Day-themed decorations. Include a lantern, a banner, red bows, and a few roses.

You can paint the ladder green, so it goes with the greenery plants if you have any on your porch. You could honestly keep this up all year long and just switch out the banner.

7. CHRISTMAS TREE LADDER

This type of ladder is extremely popular during Christmas. Some people don’t want trees in their living room, so they buy a Christmas tree ladder instead.

9. BLANKET LADDER

Want to bring a little festive spirit to your Living room as well, without going overboard? Well, no problem there!

You can search for some tutorials on YouTube to follow along.

11. TINSEL HEARTS LADDER

I am obsessed with this ladder idea. There’s not much Valentine-themed decor here, but it is still so cute.

This is perfect if you want something simple or just want to add a few items without redecorating the entirety of the ladder.

Just place a few neutral blankets on the shelves and incorporate a couple of tinsel hearts and a Valentine’s Day sign that says “love you more”.

12. LOVE LADDER DECOR

How cute is this? I think this would look amazing in your bedroom. You can place this by the dresser or even next to your bed.

All you need for this idea is some wooden letters to make out the word “love”, some small vases, and pink flowers.

13. MESH LADDER IDEA

This is another one of my favorite ladder decorations. First, hang up the wooden letters to spell out love. You can place a letter on each step.

Add a couple of hearts, and the star of the show is the red mesh fabric. Without it, I feel the ladder would look incomplete. I absolutely love how it just brings everything together and looks incredible.

14. rustic ladder

If you want your ladder to have more of a rustic look, this is the one for you! Buy some wooden letters that are rustic, along with some pretty flowers and vases.

You can get pretty much everything you need from Michaels or Dollar Tree. This ladder looks like it would be perfect for a wedding, haha!

15. XOXO LADDER

The XOXO banner is one of my favorite things ever! This entire ladder is decorated with wooden Valentine’s Day-themed decorations.

The best place to buy such decorations would be Etsy, in my opinion. They have so many options and are of very good quality. You can also try checking on Amazon or going to Home Goods.

16. BOW LADDER

You cannot tell me this isn’t the cutest ladder you’ve seen! I am obsessed with literally everything about this. You can place this ladder in an empty corner in your living room or outdoors.

Incorporate some wooden decorations, and to complete the look, add a giant bow on top. You can even layer 2 or 3 bows to make more of a statement if you’d like.

17. PILLOWS AND FAIRY LIGHTS

Have an awkward corner in your home that you don’t know what to do with? No problem, simply decorate your ladder for Valentine’s Day and place it there.

Tie it all together by adding a giant burlap bow on top.

You can get the “hello love” sign from Etsy, and everything else you can get from Amazon or Dollar Tree. Attach some red and pink pom poms on the side for a pop of color.

21. RED LADDER IDEA

Here is another gorgeous tree ladder idea for Valentine’s Day. Pick a color theme and decorate it accordingly.

I suggest going with either red or pink since those are the two most popular colors for Valentine’s Day.

Incorporate Valentine’s Gnomes and wooden decorative items that have the phrase “I love you” on them. Include cute trucks and plushies, and mix in some white as well.

22. MINIMALIST LADDER

Want to keep it simple this year and not go overboard with the decor? If yes, then recreate this awesome ladder idea.

DIY the yarn hearts at home with a cardboard cutout of a heart and yarn of your choosing. Place foam heart stickers on the side and finish it off by adding a “love” sign in the middle.

23. CUTE VALENTINE’S LADDER

You know what’s better than one stunning Valentine’s ladder? Two Valentine’s Day ladders! I mean, how insanely cute do these look together?

I am obsessed with the white color of the ladder. It makes the decorations pop. You can decorate them similarly to each other or completely differently.

24. HULA HOOP DECOR LADDER

The ladder itself is actually pretty simple. You can even get the kids involved. Have them make cutouts of hearts and color them in. They can do ombre, stripes, or a full red and pink.

Now, get a small gold hoop like above and attach some flowers on top and a big heart towards the center. Add that to the top of the ladder for a completed look.

This is sure to garner lots of compliments.

25. ROUND LADDER SHELF

If you want a ladder shelf that has more space, I suggest getting one with circular trays. You can place so many decorations on them without the fear of them falling off.

You can dedicate each tray to a different type of decor as well. For example, the first one can be ceramic houses, the second plushies, the third wooden decor, and so on.

26. RAE DUNN LADDER

I absolutely love Rae Dunn! The ceramic cups and canisters are so adorable. They come out with new items during the holidays, so definitely keep an eye out for those.

For this ladder, you are going to need lots of Rae Dunn, ceramic houses, Valentine’s gnomes, and a small plant to add a bit of greenery.

27. RED VALENTINES LADDER

Paint your ladder red for a gorgeous Valentine’s Day-themed decor. Decorate it with wooden letters, some roses, and other cute items.
