Looking for Galentine’s Day ideas on a budget? Head to your local Dollar Store and buy a few heart balloons. They are extremely cheap and look absolutely amazing!

You can leave them up in the air or add some to your photo backdrop for even cuter pictures!

2. GALENTINE’S TABLESCAPE
source:pinterest

Planning on having dinner with your girls during your Galentine’s Day party? Then you absolutely have to recreate this stunning tablescape!

You’ll need red table placements, a white plate, pink napkins, a pink tablecloth, and pink drinking glasses.

You can even go one step further and place a red heart decor on the plates and incorporate red candles as well.

3. FRUIT SKEWERS
source:pinterest

Create these little fruit skewers for your besties to munch on during the party. You’ll need wooden skewers, a mini heart cookie cutter, and fruits of your choosing.

I suggest going with watermelons, strawberries, and grapes since they are very popular and most people love them.

You’ll want to cut the stems of the strawberries, and while you’re doing that, make sure to cut them in a way where the strawberry looks like a heart.

For the watermelon, just use the cookie cutter to create the heart shape. Now just place them on the skewers whilst alternating between the three.

4. KISS CAM
source:pinterest

How cute is this? My friends and I actually made something like this last year for our gathering. It was really easy to make and super fun to take pictures with it.

You’ll need a large poster board, an exacto knife, and some Valentine’s Day decorations to make it look super cute.

Once you’re done making a big heart in the middle, grab your decorations and start gluing them on.

I suggest going with a red or pink tinsel garland to outline the heart, some heart stickers for the background, and cut out letters to create the words “kiss cam”.

5. SWEETS STATION
source:pinterest

Is it really a Galentine’s Day gathering without eating a bunch of sweets? Not in my book!

When I was younger, I used to look forward to valentines Day all year because we would get a bunch of candy in class, haha!

Anyway, create a little station just for candies and sweet treats. Find a little corner in your living room or wherever you’re hosting the party, and place a small table there for the sweets.

I suggest buying red and pink treats only since those are the two main colors for Galentine’s Day.

Include hot Cheetos, M&M’s, Hershey’s kisses, Twizzlers, lollipops, donuts, chocolate-dipped pretzels, and so on.

6. FESTIVE GLASSES
source:pinterest

Who says drinking can’t be fun? Grab some flutes and dip the rim in honey first to make it sticky. Then dip it in a bowl full of pink sugar.

Now just pour yourself a drink and have fun!

7. XOXO PHOTO BACKDROP
source:pinterest

Make sure your pictures turn out amazing by creating a stunning photo backdrop. You can buy the newspaper wallpaper from Etsy, or you can even DIY it yourself.

Then grab some red and pink paint and write cute Valentine’s phrases like “xoxo”, “be mine”, and “mi amor”. For the finishing touch, hang up some balloons to the side.

Your pictures are sure to turn out absolutely gorgeous!

8. VALENTINES HEART BALLOONS
source:pinterest

These balloons are literally one of my favorite things about Galentine’s Day. You can get them from practically any store, and all you need to do is place them in your desired area.

I suggest leaving them in the air like above. It creates a cozy and festive atmosphere, and if you’re snapping some candid pictures, the balloons will make them look 10x cuter!

9. MIMOSA BAR
source:pinterest

Surprise your girlfriends with this amazing mimosa bar! I mean, everyone can use a drink at a party, right? Get a picture frame that says “mimosa bar” on it.

You can honestly design how you want it to look on Canva and just print it out. You’ll save a lot of money that way.

Make sure to include a variety of juices like orange juice, cranberry juice, and pineapple juice.

Put out toppings in decorative bowls as well, along with an ice bucket with champagne. For the toppings, go with strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.

10. GALENTINE’S DAY SALAD
source:pinterest

Love salad but want it to be on theme with your galentine’s party? No problem there! Recreate this awesome caprese salad with a few simple steps.

First, you’re going to want to gather the ingredients: tomato, basil, and mozzarella. Cut the tomatoes into small circles. Get your mini heart cookie cutter out and cut the mozorella into heart shapes.

Now, grab your salad bowl and place them neatly whilst alternating the ingredients. For example, place the tomatoes first, then the mozzarella, and basil. Repeat the steps over and over until the bowl is full.

I do recommend seasoning it before arranging it with salt, pepper, olive oil, and a balsamic glaze.

11. GALENTINES CHARCUTERIE BOARD
source:pinterest

Is it really a galentines party without sweet treats? I think not! Charcuterie boards are amazing because not only can you put a bunch of food and snacks on them, it serves as a centerpiece too.

I mean, just look how amazing it looks! For a fun Galentines charcuterie board, go with foods and snacks that are red and pink.

Include spicy chips, candies, Babybel cheese, Rice krispie treats, pepperoni, grapes, and so on.

12. DESIGN YOUR OWN GLASSES
source:pinterest

This is an amazing idea for your galentines party! Buy a bunch of red and pink heart glasses from Amazon, along with some decorating items and glue.

You and your girlfriends can each design a pair of glasses however you want with rhinestones, stickers, and other decorations.

You can also use them as photo props and as a memorable item for the future.

Imagine you’re going through your stuff in like 20 years and you find this pair of bedazzled glasses and remember the epic galentines party you had with your besties.

13. GLITTER BAR
source:pinterest

Every party needs a fun activity. This is where the glitter bar comes in. You obviously need some glitter, rhinestones, and eyelash glue.

Bedazzle your face with different rhinestones and glitter, and snap a super cute picture. I had this for my graduation party a few years back, and it was a huge hit!

14. ENTRY FEW
source:pinterest

Get the party going before you even set foot inside. Set up a little station towards the entrance of your house for entry fee shots.

Each person can take a shot before going in. I also recommended putting out a few other options that are non-alcoholic for those who drink.

Make the drinks look even cuter by placing mini pink cowboy hats on top.

15. WELCOME TO GALENTINES
source:pinterest

Welcome your guests with this amazing Galentines decor. You can buy a white gift box for this or use a regular cardboard box.

Decorate it with hearts, Cupid, and other Valentine’s themed decorations. Write on top of the box, “Welcome to galentines.” Place roses inside the box and you’re done!

You can place the box near the entrance, in your dining room, or wherever you see fit.

16. DIY LIPPIE CHARMS
source:pinterest

I don’t know about you, but I love to make charms for my lippies. It’s honestly one of my favorite hobbies. Set up your table for a lippies charm-making station.

You can buy all of the products you need from Amazon. Buy different bags of charms, pliers, and, of course, the lip balms.

I suggest getting Summer Friday’s lip products since they are very popular and actually moisturize your lips.

17. DIY TIERED TRAY
source:pinterest

Want to add some Valentine’s Day decor to your home? If yes, then you have to recreate this idea! Get a tiered tray and just place your V-Day decorations on it.

I suggest adding a few Rae Dunn, Valentines gnomes, heart plushies, flowers, and wooden hearts. It is very easy to achieve and super cheap.

I especially love tiered trays because once valentines Day is over, you can simply switch out the decorations for any occasion.

18. BREAK MY HEART
source:pinterest

As I said before, every party needs a fun activity to entertain the guests. For Galentine’s Day, this one is perfect. You’ll need a cardboard, plastic cups, red napkins/plastic, and a bow and arrow.

Glue on the cups in the form of a heart shape, like above. Inside the cups, place candies, trinkets, and other items for the “prize”.

Then place the red napkins or red plastic sheets on top to cover the cups. Now, each of you will take turns trying to land on one of the cups with the bow and arrow.

This is a super fun game, and some will definitely go a little crazy with the competitiveness (like me), lol!

19. TAKE POLAROID PICTURES
source:pinterest

If you’re throwing a party or gathering of any sort, you HAVE to take Polaroid pictures! Why? Well, because you get to capture the moment instantly and can cherish the photos for years to come.

You can also place disposable cameras in a bowl for your girls and have them take pictures all night. Once the party is over, you can have them developed and share them with the others.

20. CHARCUTERIE CUPS
source:pinterest

Make sure everyone has something to munch on during the party and recreate these adorable charcuterie cups.

You can get the actual cups from Etsy, or if you want, you can buy regular ones and decorate them for Galentines Day.

Then fill it up with tasty snacks. Cured meats and cheese are a must, but if your guests don’t like them, you can leave them out.

Also, add fruit skewers, candies, crackers, and other various food items.

21. HEART SHAPED PIZZA
source:pinterest

Who doesn’t love pizza? Instead of ordering out, why not get a little hands-on and make the pizza yourself? Gather your girlfriends and the ingredients.

You’ll need the basic pizza sauce, dough, and cheese, along with toppings of your choice. They can each make a heart-shaped pizza for themselves with whatever toppings they want.

You can also make mini pizzas, which I think are much more fun to eat.

22. GIFT BASKETS
source:pinterest

I love gift baskets! I love giving them and also receiving them. Show a little love to your besties and curate gift baskets for each of them.

You don’t have to spend a ton of money on this (although you can if you want to). You can get almost everything you need from the dollar store.

Fill the basket up with candies, chips, sweet treats, valentines balloons, a mini bottle of alcohol, and a super cute plush toy.

23. VALENTINES PAINT AND SIP
source:pinterest

Here is another fun activity the girls will love. Instead of blaring loud music and just dancing around (which is also super fun), why not have a quiet night in with the girlies and paint?

I highly recommend painting each other for this little activity. My boyfriend and I actually did this for date night one time, and OMG! It was hilarious.

We decided that we were going to paint each other, and we couldn’t stop laughing at the results, lol!

You definitely don’t have to be a good painter for this. Galentines Day is about spending quality time with your best friends and celebrating friendship.

Do just that while sippin’ on some wine and painting.

24. LIPSTICK SIGN IN
source:pinterest

Instead of just signing your names with a pen on the guest book, get a little creative and use lipstick instead.

Buy a few brand new lipsticks in red and pink. Leave them by the guest book, and also make sure to buy disposable lip brushes for sanitary purposes.

Have each guest put on a shade of lipstick they want and kiss the paper, and then sign their names underneath their mark.

You can even frame this afterwards because it is going to look absolutely amazing.

25. MATCHING PJS
source:pinterest

What is more fun than matching PJs with your besties? Nothing! Pick out a cute pair of pajamas you all want to wear and wear them for Galentine’s Day.

You should most definitely recreate this idea if you are having a sleepover. The pictures will turn out even more amazing!

26. GALENTINES PICNIC
source:pinterest

I am a huge fan of picnics, and if your friends love the outdoors too, then they will love this idea. You can have the picnic at a park or even in your very own backyard.

Make sure to bring out all of the essentials and decorations. You’ll need heart balloons to make it look festive, a low picnic table, pillows, blankets, plates, and, obviously, the food.

Since Galentine’s Day is in February, it is still going to be a bit chilly. So make sure to bring extra blankets or wear jackets to stay warm.

27. PAINT CANDLES
source:pinterest

You can either do this before your guests arrive or after. Each of your friends can paint a few candles to take home with them or even just as a fun activity.

You are going to need candle wax dyes, tapered candles, and, of course, paint brushes. You can paint all sorts of designs like hearts, Cupid’s bow and arrow, cute phrases, xoxo, and more!

28. FUN DRINKS
source:pinterest

Is there anything more fun than a festive drink that not only looks good, but also tastes incredible? You can make your own little concoction of drinks or just do something simple.

First, dip the glasses in some honey and sugar for the rim. Then pour in your drink. This can be alcohol or plain old pink lemonade.

Then just place a candy skewer or a fruit skewer on top.

29. SNACK TABLE
source:pinterest

No party is ever complete without snacks. I mean, it’s one of the main reasons I even go, lol! But seriously, you need to have lots of snacks out for your guests.

Just set up a little table with the classics. Like cheese, crackers, fries, dips, fruits, pizza, and so on.

30. MOVIE NIGHT
source:pinterest

Not in the mood for a party? No problem there! Simply host a fun movie marathon night with your besties. You obviously need lots of popcorn and snacks, so make sure you have enough.

Now for the movies. You can ask each of your friends what they want to watch and take turns. When my friends and I have movie nights, we always just watch cheesy rom-coms.

I feel like they are the most fun and are great for Galentine’s Day. You get to laugh, chat with your friends, and eat delicious food. What more could you want?

31. WILL YOU BE OUR GALENTINE
source:pinterest

I absolutely love this display! All you need are black wooden letters that make up the words ” Will you be our galentine”.

You can get them from Amazon. Hang up the letters above your food station or by the entrance of the party. No matter where you decide to put it, it will look amazing!

32. BAR CART
source:pinterest

Last but definitely not least, we have this amazing Galentine’s Day bar cart. Decorate it for the holiday with xoxo garland, a tinsel garland, cute plushies, flowers, and wooden hearts.

Don’t forget to include lots of alcohol. I suggest doing a mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, so the cart can cater to everyone.
