Double Dutch braids are literally my go-to for every season of the year. They are suitable for all hair types and will be gorgeous with any outfit you wear. If you don’t know how to do Dutch braids, you can search for an easy tutorial on YouTube. You can also practice on someone else and learn how to do it on your own hair (it’s how I learned).

2. BUBBLE BRAIDS

Bubble braids are another simple and cute hairstyle. There are various different ways you can incorporate bubble braids into your hairstyle. You can create a single pony, create two face-framing braids and leave the rest out, or you can create two pigtails.

This hairstyle is actually pretty easy and everyone can recreate this. All you need are a few rubber bands and tie them on your hair until you reach the very end like above!

3. USE CLAW-CLIPS

I think pretty much every woman has a claw clip in their purse or home. They are one of the best hair accessories that can be styled in more than one way. I know some people like to clip it to their purse or on a scrunchie to give it extra flare, but one of my favorites is using it to create a beautiful hairstyle.

If you want to keep your hair out of your face and away from your neck in the scorching hot heat, gather all of your hair in your hand, wrap it around the inside of the clip, and clip it to your hair. You can create this hairstyle with very little effort.

4. MESSY BUN

Messy buns are one of my top two favorites for summer hairstyles. They are very easy to recreate and look amazing while putting in very little effort. You can create a bun on the top of your head or create a low messy bun. Both of which are gorgeous and keep the hair away from your neck.

5. HALF UP HALF DOWN

A quick and easy hairstyle you can do for summer is a half-up half down. Not only is this super simple, but it goes with any outfit you choose (casual or formal). All you need to do to recreate this hairstyle is tie up half of your hair, that’s it! You can also leave a few pieces of face-framing hair out.

6. TWO SMALL FRONT BRAIDS

This hairstyle is perfect for the beach. Create two small braids on the front and leave the rest out. You can curl or crimp the hair to create beach waves. If you don’t like to use heat on your, you make two braids to create the same style. Make it tighter or looser depending on your preference.

7. MESSY PONYTAIL

Ponytails are a classic that everyone knows how to do. All you do is tie up your hair with a scrunchie or rubber band. If you’re going for a messy look, leave some pieces of your hair out and make sure the ponytail isn’t perfect. If you want, you can also wrap a small piece of your hair around the scrunchie and secure it with a bobby pin.

8. SLEEK BRAID

If you’re looking for summer hairstyles that are simple yet put together, I’ve got the perfect one for you! First, gather all of your hair and tie it up. Then, braid your hair tightly to ensure no loose strands will be coming out — you can also use some hairspray for this. Then get some gel or more hairspray to lay down any flyaways, and voila, you’ve got a beautiful summer hairstyle.

If you want to put a twist on the classic low pony then put a twist in it (see what I did there, LOL). You can elevate the simple ponytail by twisting the hair before tying it.
