This is one of my biggest tips on how to keep your hair hydrated during the colder months. There are already a lot of natural oils on your scalp that naturally hydrate and nourish your strands.

If you’re washing your hair every single day, you’re just stripping all those oils and essentially drying out your hair.

2. WEAR PROTECTIVE HAIRSTYLE WHEN OUTSIDE

Another great tip for protecting your hair during the winter months is preventing it from being exposed to the harsh elements.

When you go outside, try wearing your hair in a protective hairstyle like a braid and tuck it into your scarf or jacket.

You can also wear hats to protect your hair and as an added bonus, it also keeps you warm.

3. USE HAIR MASKS, OILS, SERUMS

I love using masks and oils in my hair. They really do a great job of putting the moisture back in.
