Fall is making its way toward us rapidly this year, which means we need to start thinking about ways to make our homes feel warm and cozy. I love redecorating but I live in a dorm room so I have very little space to do so.
But, every year I try to change up my dorm decor for the new season and it always ends up looking insanely good. So if you’re worried that you won’t be able to incorporate these ideas in smaller spaces, don’t be because you absolutely can!
Today we’re going to be looking at gorgeous fall bedroom inspo. It is where we spend most of our time (at least I do), so it needs to always look good and feel warm, cozy, and inviting. All of these ideas are insanely cute and very easy to recreate as well.
From the cutest bedsheets and fall pillows to wall decorating ideas, there is something in here for everyone!

FALL BEDROOM IDEAS
1. FALL BEDROOM IDEA
The very first thing we need to do in order to create a cozy atmosphere is change our bed decor. This includes pillows, bedsheets, and blankets.
Buy fall-themed pillows with lots of pumpkins and bright orange colors. You can also mix in some neutral and lighter shades to balance everything out.
2. DECORATE YOUR CABINET
Do you have a cabinet in your room? If so, you have to recreate this fall decor. This idea will look insanely good if you have a glass/clear cabinet.
You can use the cabinet to display cute and cozy decorative objects.
Think wooden figurines, mini pumpkins, candles, and flowers. Make it look extra cozy and warm by adding leaf garlands and fairy lights.
3. WALL DECOR
Walls are often times overlooked when it comes to decor in the bedroom. If you have a big empty wall by your bed, it will most likely make the space feel unfinished and will not look as good as it should.
A simple way to add some fall decor and fill up your wall is by adding fairy lights with a few orange leaves attached. It’ll give you the perfect amount of illumination and looks amazing without it being too much.
4. ABOVE THE BED DECOR
Most people have a picture or two above their bed. Which is great but, add in a little fall decor with leaf garlands and fairy lights.
First, secure the fairy lights and then add the leaf garland on top. Make sure to move your pictures up a few inches first if it is lower.
5. ADD FALL PILLOWS
If you’re looking for easy fall bedroom ideas to recreate, then this is the one for you. All you need for this idea are a couple of fall-themed pillows.
You can get them from Amazon or practically any store for a really low price. You can buy ones with cute quotes, pumpkin designs, and bright orange colors.
If you don’t like bright colors, then look for neutral pillows. There are plenty of options for those as well.
6. HANG UP A WALL SIGN
If you don’t like all of the oranges and reds that come with fall but still want to show a little festive spirit, hang up a simple wall sign.
You can find a lot of options on Etsy and Amazon, including a bunch of different designs and quotes. My personal favorites are ones that say “Pumpkin patch” or “Hello pumpkin”.
7. CHANGE YOUR BEDSHEETS
As I mentioned earlier, the very first thing you need to do is change your bedsheets. This way, even if you don’t add any other additional decorations, the bed will be enough.
These are my top picks and one of my favorites. They are very subtle but still look insanely cute.
8. FALL TRAY
How cute is this? If you make your bed every morning (or not), then this is a great idea. Grab a woven tray and include a fall-scented candle, a small succulent, faux mini pumpkins, and a cute mug.
You can also include some sweet treats to snack on while watching TV.
9. PILLOWS AND BLANKET
Can you really have too many pillows? I think not! I love ghosts and mini pumpkins for my bed. Especially if it’s just for decor.
Top if off with a cute blanket with pumpkins and you’ll have the cutest bed ever!
10. BLANKET LADDER
I’m sure you guys have seen one of these before. Blanket ladders are great for organization and for decor.
The ladder adds a nice farmhouse/rustic charm and you can just add a couple of fall blankets for the new season. Make it even more festive and incorporate a bright leaf garland.
And when the season is coming to an end, simply switch out the blankets and decor for the next one.
11. WOVEN BASKET WITH EXTRA BLANKETS
This is honestly such a great idea to recreate for any room in your house. Grab a large woven basket and include extra blankets and a few fall decorations inside.
You can place this in your bedroom, living room, guest room, or any other space in your home. They are great for when you need extra warmth and they double as decor.
12. FALL BASKET
Looking for the cutest fall bedroom ideas? This is a great option. Fall baskets make for great gifts but they are also great to just keep in your room as decor.
Fill it up with the things you need. Pajamas, slippers, candles, and an extra blanket. Place this on your bed or on the floor. You’ll have backup for when you need it and it’s extremely cheap.
13. READING NOOK
As someone who doesn’t go anywhere without a book in her hand, this is a dream come true! If you have a window seat or small corner in your room, you have to recreate this.
Add a fluffy pillow, cozy blankets, candles, a few fall leaves, and of course your favorite book. How amazing would it be to just sip on your coffee and read a book whilst it’s raining outside?
14. SHELF DECOR
If you have shelves in your room, use them to display some wooden figurines. Incorporate mini pumpkins, candles, leaf garlands, and fairy lights for the perfect amount of illumination.
If you don’t already have shelves in your room, no worries because you can easily recreate this decor using floating shelves.
Just install them where you want to display your decorations and add whatever you want!
15. FALL BOOKSHELF
Do you have a bookshelf or a cabinet in your room? If yes, make it look festive by adding leaf garlands fairy lights, and mini pumpkins.
If you live in a dorm, you can also incorporate this idea into your trolly/nightstand.
16. THROW BLANKET
Throw blankets are great at many things, one of them being serving as decor. If you have a couch or a chair in your bedroom, adding a fall-themed blanket and throw pillow can make a huge difference.
You can also add some mini pumpkins and a scented candle to your side table to complete the look.
17. END OF BED BENCH DECOR
Another great way to add a touch of fall to your bedroom is by decorating your bed bench. Just add a couple of cute pillows and a throw blanket.
You can leave it at that but if you want to go a step further, you can add a woven basket full of gorgeous flowers and stems right beside it.
18. BED SHEETS AND FAIRY LIGHTS
This is definitely my favorite fall bedroom inspo. I love everything about this! From the bright orange bed sheets to the gorgeous orange fairy lights.
You can also add a clothing rack filled with fall clothes. Sweaters, jackets, sweatshirts, and vests are all things to include.
Plus, you won’t be spending any money trying to recreate it (unless you’re buying new clothing pieces, lol!)
19. ADD GARLAND ABOVE WINDOWS
If you’re looking for ways to spice up your windows for the new season, adding bright orange leaf garlands is a great and cheap way to do so.
You’ll just have to hook it onto a curtain rod to secure it. You can also add some fairy lights if you want to go a step further.
20. STRING LIGHTS WITH PHOTOS
I actually recreated this for my dorm room last year. It’s so easy to recreate and looks incredible. Plus, you can leave it up all year long.
Print out pictures of you and your friends. Grab some clothespins and secure the pictures on the string lights. That’s it!
21. DRESSER DECOR
A nice fall wreath on a gorgeous mirror and some mini pumpkins will make your dresser look so much better! Add some fall leaves here and there to complete the look.
22. FALL DISPLAY
Last but not least, we have this beautiful bookshelf display. You can add all of your books and place mini pumpkins on top.
You can also add some flowers and wooden figurines. Make the space feel even more warm and cozy by adding fairy lights.
